Metastatic Cancer

In 2016 I was diagnosed with primary breast cancer, in the year that followed I had 6 sessions of chemotherapy, 23 sessions of radiotherapy and then 8 months of hormone therapy. Unfortunately, just as I was starting to rebuild my life, I was diagnosed with metastatic, or incurable, cancer. The breast cancer has spread to my bones and my lymph system and I have now been on treatment for MBC since 2019.

I have been blogging about my cancer diagnosis and treatment throughout the years and you can find those posts here.

If you have questions about anything you read in these posts, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me on my contact page.

There is a bit of a MBC hub here with more info about my cancer diagnosis too.

F-you Enhertu

I’ve had 2 rounds of the new wonder drug Enhertu now, and so far, all I can say is that it best be working because it really isn’t that much fun to be on.
