This post is brought to you in conjunction with Thorntons

a big happy birthday to me, the wonderful people at Thorntons have offered to giveaway
a chocolate hamper worth £25 to one of my lovely readers.
I
am however a little bit jealous, having eaten probably twice my body weight in their
yummy Continental chocolates over Christmas that this prize won’t be coming to
me. Seriously, I’m not even kidding you, between the weekend of my brothers
wedding and the first week in January we ate one huge box and two smaller
boxes. That’s a
days, but I’ll be totally honest with you, I don’t really regret one single
mouthful. I don’t even regret the fights over the Viennese chocs with the boy. What
I do regret is believing him when he said we’d eaten them all – I later found
out he’d snaffled a few away for eating without me! Grrrrrrrrrr.
but it sounds like a pretty good trade off for chocolate!

Thorntons hamper, worth £25, leave a comment telling me what your favourite chocolate is. You
can also bag yourself an extra entry by tweeting about the competition, or following me through Google Friend Connect through
the Rafflecopter widget below. Simple.
ones, I won’t complain!}

Their chocolate is awesome.
I love Thornton's chocolate, especially the white chocolate lemon mousse. Great prize, thanks!
I've not tried the white lemon. That'll be my next to try.
I love the almond praline Alpini! I really should start a January diet but all this snow makes me crave more chocolate!
January diets should never be considered – well, they aren't in this house, too many birthdays.
I love bounty bars. They're cheap and nasty but I love them!
Claire
I think if my dad could only eat one thing in life it'd be red bounties. he's addicted.
Apricot Parfait. Always and forever. x
Apricot Parfait? This will be googled and tried asap.
Is this a UK only giveway??? I hope not! Also, I like dark chocolate
It is UK only I'm afraid. But I'll do something international soon.
I'm a Toblerone fan and was so excited to see the MAHOOSIVE bars available over here for Christmas. We didn't have such things in the States.
Are you going to be sending them to everyone you know now?
I love salted caramel chocolate, it's amazing!
I need to get on this salted chocolate thing don't i!
Oh god. You mentioned the words Viennese and Thorntons in the same blog post and now I am totally unable to concentrate.
*salivates*
hahahahaha, glad I can help you out at the new job 😉
I love Thorntons Viennese Truffles
I love Thorntons chocolate covered toffee X
Perfect giveaway for this cold January! I love pretty much any kind of chocolate but especially anything with marzipan/almonds in it. Yum!
Oh my, marzipan is my ULTIMATE weakness. love the stuff.

My fav chocolate bars would be a twix or drifter – a little bit because of the toffee in them!
Awww, so glad you did this, fantastic giveaway! 😉 and Happy Birthday to you!
Okay, this is hard because I love ALL the chocolate (I've even been known to eat Flossie's doggie chocs on occasion but that's a secret) >.<
One of my favourites "was" Hotel Chocolat Praline puddles, but they stopped doing them last summer. Grrrrr. But, I will say ANYTHING with Praline involved gets my mouth watering! ;D xx
Thankyou.
And dog chocolate? was it nice? should we all be doing it? maybe its the future?
Wow, wow, wow this is an amazing giveaway!
My favourite chocolate is so difficult because it changes every week! I sometimes love a good old Tropic bar, or Cadbury wholenut, or dark chocolate bounty or if I'm feeling adventurous Reeses peanut butter cups. The list is pretty much endless!
Happy birthday!
xx
Ah, I love the idea of a Reeses cup, but I don't like peanuts and it catches me out every time.
Viennese are my favorites too
For Christmas I had a Hotel Chocolat Go Bananas Chocolate Slab given to me and I must say I'm hooked on it now.
I love chocolate caramels and fudge
Anything with mint.. or strawberry.. or TRUFFLE
YUM
Chocolate…
May have to go and buy a cheeky box now as I'm terrible at winning anything, oh well, chocolate be mine 😉
Chocolate riche is the best Thorntons chocolate by far 🙂
My absolute favourite chocolates are soft-centre salted caramel with a dark chocolate coating. Unfortunately I can't find any in Sheffield so this year's challenge is to learn how to make them myself (and in the meantime, eat plenty of delicious alternatives…) 🙂
OMG Salted Caramels all the way – seriously, the best chocolates known to man 🙂 I dunno if you need my email but it's nodiscernibletalent at yahoo dot co dot uk if you do! Thanks
