Holiday Crafting 2011 – Christmas Cookies

Again, a little deviation on one of last years gifts, the ‘Cookie’s in a Jar‘ – this time I packaged up a simple sugar cookie mix into little food bags, with a 1/2 teaspoon pipette of my handmade vanilla essence and popped them into some soup takeaway containers I have. I did some of these for my friends baby shower and they seemed to go down well, so I figured they couldn’t hurt for Christmas too!
The Instructions were printed onto the back and I tied the pots up with some ribbon – organza, gingham and a solid red were the choices and they looked fab all together, but I did realise that was just pleasing to me!
To top off the cookies I tied a cookie cutter to the top and added a little gift card. The cutters were a little touch I added after I’d done the packaging as they sell sets of 6 Christmas cutters at Ikea for about £2.50 – which was just too good to pass up!

{All the red and blue labels were made using these labels as a base from Eat Drink Chic}

And tomorrow I’ll be showing you how to make Lush style bath bars!
